I am honored to walk with you as you navigate life—whether ADHD is part of your story or not. But if it is, I get it. ADHD isn’t just about focus; it can impact emotions, organization, and even self-worth. It often comes hand-in-hand with anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or challenges with motivation.
My journey with ADHD began when my daughter struggled to focus, even in preschool. As I dove into learning how to support her, I recognized so many of the same patterns in myself. My own diagnosis soon followed.
For 18 years, I taught middle school students, a time in life when emotions run high and self-discovery is constant. I found joy in their unique perspectives and connected well with students who thought outside the box. Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy of “following the child” shaped how I saw my students—not just as learners, but as whole people with strengths beyond academics.
At home, we openly embrace the wonders of the ADHD brain—both the challenges and the gifts. We understand the importance of routines, even when we struggle to start them. We know it is safe to say, “I spaced out, can you repeat that?” We work toward emotional regulation, not perfection, and use tools to re-center ourselves when life feels overwhelming.
ADHD is my superpower, and I believe it can be yours too. Supporting you on your journey isn’t just my job—it’s what gives my work meaning. Let’s explore your strengths, uncover what works for you, and create a life where you can thrive.
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder with symptoms of hyperactivity, impulsivity, and/or inattention. The symptoms affect cognitive, academic, behavioral, emotional, and social functioning. ADHD looks different for each person, and the symptoms change throughout life.
ADHD is also a superpower. People with ADHD tend to be resilient, creative, empathetic, persistent, able to see the big picture when other people are bogged down in details, excellent problem solvers, and able to hyperfocus on interesting tasks.
